Combined Screw Air Compressor

A combined screw air compressor integrates components such as screw compressors, refrigerated dryers, precision filters, and air receivers into a single unit. Hence, it is also known as an integrated screw air compressor. The compact rotary screw air compressor offers convenient installation, easy application, and portability. In the current scenario, compressed air has become the second-largest secure energy source after electricity, and this compact portable screw compressor finds widespread applications across various industries.

Types of Combined Screw Air Compressor

How to Choose the Right Combined Screw Air Compressor

  • Determining the Operating Pressure of the Air Compressor:

When selecting an wholesale screw air compressor, the first step is to identify the working pressure required by the end-use applications. Subsequently, choose an integrated air compressor that meets this pressure requirement.

  • Determining the Corresponding Volumetric Flow Rate of the Compact Screw Air Compressor:

During the compact rotary screw air compressor selection process, it's important to understand the volumetric flow rate requirements of all the equipment using the compressed air. Calculate the total flow rate by multiplying the sum of individual flow rates by a factor of 1.2.

Working Principle of Combined Screw Air Compressor

Upon starting the integrated air compressor, the loading valve remains inactive, the loading cylinder doesn't move, and the four in one air compressor's inlet is closed. When the rotary screw type air compressor starts running, if the downstream equipment consumes a considerable amount of air, and if the compressed air pressure in the air receiver and downstream pipelines hasn't reached the upper limit, the controller activates the loading valve, opening the inlet and engaging the motor load to generate compressed air for the downstream pipelines. If the downstream equipment stops using air, the pressure in the downstream pipelines and air receiver gradually rises. Upon reaching the upper pressure limit setting, the pressure controller sends an unload signal, deactivating the loading valve and closing the inlet, causing the motor to run without load.

Combined Compact Rotary Screw Air Compressor Applications

The integrated air compressor is a system device that integrates components such as the air compressor, refrigerated dryer, precision filter, and air receiver tank into one unit. Therefore, it can also be called a combined screw air compressor. This compact rotary screw air compressor is convenient to install, easy to use, and flexible to move for users. This type of air compressor is often used in conjunction with laser cutting machine equipment, so it is also called a laser cutting air compressor. This integrated screw compressor is used in the laser cutting industry to provide stable gas for laser cutting machines and is an indispensable equipment in the laser industry.
